Assisting Indigenous Australians
Members of our architectural design team have been working with Aboriginal Management groups and government agencies, with the development and establishment of unique universal design initiatives which provide supports for disabled and aged people. This may provide opportunities for other indigenous groups in remote communities throughout Australia.
AFAA Acknowledges Royal Seal of Approval Award.
Architect Harry Sprintz, was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his “services to architecture, particularly in the field of disability access”. In addition, Harry was inducted into the Australian Design Hall of Fame by the Design Institute of Australia, also in recognition of his career-long contribution to interior architecture and access design.
